Rijksmuseum

This amazing structure is Holland’s National Maritime Museum, and having gone through a recent (and very expensive) renovation, it offers some of the most fascinating and historical insights into the country’s maritime achievements. If you’re thinking of visiting Amsterdam this summer, then the Het Scheepvaart Museum is a must-see attraction, and it’s known to get very busy during weekend, so make sure you get there early.
Offering so much for the younger generations, you’ll be pleased to find out that kids go free in the Het Scheepvaart Museum, and even with the price of the adult ticket there’s so much to see and do. From 17th century sailing ships to the latest and most technologically advanced vessels, you could easily spend an entire day here. Additionally, there’s also a great collection of old maps, painting and other treasure found by Dutch sea captains on their world travels over the years.
The Amsterdam Canal Ring
If you’re looking for a lovely evening stroll to bring your weekend break to an end, then there’s no better place than the Amsterdam Cana Ring. Not only are the canals an iconic feature of the city, but there as stunning as they are peaceful, and great to walk around in the warm summer evenings.

The last picture is not in Amsterdam or anywhere in the Netherlands. We have a different archetaturial style and don’t use yellow. Not to mention the laguage on the building.
